✦ The Process

From Assessment Data
to Finished Draft

Three clear steps. Structured output. IDEA-compliant language. Every time.

1

Upload Your Assessment Files

Upload any combination of score reports, observations, records, and prior evaluations. EvalDraft accepts PDFs, Word documents, and plain text — whatever you have from the evaluation.

Accepted inputs

  • Cognitive score reports (WISC-V, WJ-IV, RIAS-2, KABC-II)
  • Academic achievement reports (WIAT-4, KTEA-3, WJ-IV ACH)
  • Behavioral rating scales (BASC-3, Conners-3, BRIEF-2)
  • Teacher narratives, observation notes, interview summaries
  • Prior evaluations and medical records
2

AI Extracts & Organizes the Data

EvalDraft's AI reads through your uploaded files, extracts all relevant scores and qualitative information, and organizes it before writing begins. Only data actually present in your files is used — no hallucination.

What happens automatically

  • Score identification and normative interpretation
  • Cross-battery pattern analysis and score comparison
  • Behavioral and qualitative data extraction from observation notes
  • Background information organization from records
3

Review, Refine & Download

EvalDraft generates all 13 report sections with IDEA-compliant language. A QC pass flags any areas that need attention. You review, make professional adjustments, and download a fully formatted Word document.

Your finished report includes

  • All 13 sections in correct order and format
  • Score tables with proper normative descriptors
  • Eligibility language aligned to federal IDEA criteria
  • Educational impact statements and recommendations
  • Editable .docx file ready for your letterhead
Under the Hood

The Three-Phase AI Pipeline

Each report runs through a structured three-phase process — extract, write, review.

📥

Phase 1: Extract

Reads all uploaded files. Pulls scores, observations, background info. Flags any missing or ambiguous data.

✍️

Phase 2: Write

Generates all 13 sections using extracted data only. Applies IDEA-compliant phrasing throughout.

🔍

Phase 3: QC Review

Runs compliance check. Flags score mismatches, missing criteria, and non-compliant language for your review.

FAQ

Common Questions

Does EvalDraft make up information?
No. EvalDraft is strictly data-driven — it only references scores, observations, and background information that exists in your uploaded files. If data isn't there, it won't appear in the report.
How long does generation take?
Typically 2–4 minutes for a complete 13-section report, depending on the volume of uploaded files. You'll see a live progress bar during generation.
Do I still need to review the report?
Absolutely — and EvalDraft is designed to make that review efficient. You're the qualified professional; EvalDraft creates the structured first draft. You review, apply your professional judgment, and finalize before submission.
Is student data kept private?
Uploaded files are processed in real time and not stored beyond your active session. We recommend reviewing our FERPA Notice for full details on data handling.
What assessment batteries are supported?
EvalDraft supports all major batteries — WISC-V, WJ-IV, RIAS-2, KABC-II, WIAT-4, KTEA-3, BASC-3, Conners-3, BRIEF-2, Vineland-3, ABAS-3, and more. Contact us if you use a battery not listed.
